The Creation Of The Future Best Selling Chocolate Dessert Recipes Cookbook

Hi, my name is Sissy and this is the story of how and why I am creating the most tempting chocolate dessert recipes cookbook that has ever been printed since the invention of movable type by Gutenberg.

I’m a mother of 4 and a grandma of 1. I am a true Southern Belle. I grew up in a small town in Kentucky and learned to cook from the two best cooks in the south. Those two cooks are my mom and my grandma. The interesting thing about these two women is, that they rarely used recipes when they were making the most delicious chocolate desserts you have ever put in your mouth. Naturally I learned from them. It wasn’t long before I was being asked to make the chocolate gravy and biscuits instead of my mother. My brothers loved my chocolate gravy recipe better than my mom, which didn’t make her too happy.

When I got married and moved away from Kentucky down to Tennessee I would still call my grandma and ask her for a chocolate dessert recipe that I remembered her preparing when I was a little girl. The trouble with that was, grandma couldn’t remember how she made the recipe because she never wrote it down. She would tell me, “just play around with it until it tastes like you remember it”. So, I did. I began to create as many of the recipes that I remembered from my childhood, this time I wrote them down.

Aren’t There Already Enough Chocolate Dessert Recipes?

Saying there are enough chocolate dessert recipes is like saying you already have enough money.  No one in their right mind could say such a thing.  So what makes my chocolate dessert recipes the best?

The process isn’t as easy as you might think. When you’re making something by taste you are adding a pinch of this and a dash of that and sometimes you forget how many pinches of this or that you put in. The good news I guess is that my husband and children have got to test a lot of my creations along the way. I don’t think any of them would complain about me asking them to “come see if this needs something else.”

I guess I got the idea to put together of book of my most tempting chocolate dessert recipes after I took my favorite brownies to my son’s scout auction. The bidding for one plate of brownies went from $12 to $25 then to $50 and finally sold for over $100. Well, I’m sure you can imagine there were plenty of people that wanted to see what $100 brownies tasted like. After a generous buyer allowed a few to sample the brownies I quickly became a wanted woman. No matter what fund raiser came up I was encouraged to make my $100 brownies. They are worth it every time.

What makes my chocolate dessert recipes better than all the rest? I don’t know for sure, but I think it might have something to do with growing up in little southern town with a very southern momma and grandma.

Life is all about the journey not the destination.  This is the journey to the most delicious chocolate dessert recipe cookbook ever made.

Perfecting The Bisquits And Chocolate Gravy

The best part about putting together my favorite chocolate dessert recipes is testing them out on my family. To see my husband and children gobble them up is so much fun. I know that they are going to be a huge hit for anyone who tries them out.

This Is The Best Breakfast You'll Ever Sink Your Teeth Into

When it’s still hot, the butter melts on top and makes this treat a little slice of heaven. This is definitely a breakfast that will stick with you and won’t leave you feel like hungry before lunch.

The best part about this chocolate dessert recipe is that it’s so easy to make. I’ve been making this since I was just a little girl. My brothers and sisters always request that I make this for them whenever we get together. I happily oblige.

Oh, and if you’re counting your calories I’ve got good news, you’ll be counting a lot. Hey, but breakfast is the most important meal of the day right? It like a king for breakfast, eat like a prince for lunch and eat like a popper for supper.

That being said, dessert will make any meal feel all the more special, especially when it’s a dessert from my chocolate dessert recipes.

Perfecting My Chocolate Dessert Recipes

The fun part about writing this chocolate dessert recipes cookbook is perfecting each recipe.  I know my husband and children are loving this part too.  I always have willing participants to give me feedback on each of the chocolate dessert recipes I make.

The entire process of creating this chocolate dessert recipes cookbook is a labor of love and deliciousness. Now my whole family is getting into the act.  Each of my children have come up with their own chocolate dessert recipes that they want to have included into this cookbook.

Creating my chocolate dessert recipes cookbook is turning into a family thing

The latest creation comes from my 15 year old son Calvin.  Calvin is a boy scout and at one of their scout meetings they did a cooking contest.  Each of the boys were given a set of ingredients and they had to come up with a main course meal.  Calvin was given some chicken breasts, some spices and some marshmallows.  Calvin decided to create a baked chicken entree with a sweet and creamy marshmallow glaze.  His creation earned him a 2nd place finish in the contest.

As he was telling his Dad and I about this he said the marshmallow glaze was the best part.  He said “you know what that glaze would be good in?  Hot chocolate!”  So, he and I put our heads together and came up with a made from scratch hot chocolate that would be rich and chocolaty.  But it would also be very creamy and marshmallowy.

The finished creation turned out to be the most delicious hot chocolate you’ve ever tasted. You’ll probably want to make this recipe and leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve. Needless to say, Calvin has earned his spot in my chocolate dessert recipes cookbook.

Putting together this chocolate dessert recipes cookbook is such a fun family thing.

It’s brought me and my children closer together and after all, isn’t that what chocolate is supposed to do?  I am looking forward to the holidays and all of the practicing of more chocolate dessert recipes.  My husband Craig is now getting into the act.  He is talking about making caramel chocolate chewies.  Now doesn’t that sound like a yummy entry into my chocolate dessert recipes cookbook?

Thank you for taking this journey with me.  I would love your comments about my chocolate dessert recipes cookbook blog.Chocolate Dessert Recipes Cookbook
